Children can start at any time during the school year, once they’ve turned 2.
Places and our waiting list
We operate a waiting list, but at certain times we may have spaces available straight away – so please do get in touch.
If your child is on our waiting list, our Administrator will contact you nearer the time to talk about when your child can start and which sessions you’d like. We always try to meet your requests, but because of the number of children attending, we can’t guarantee your preferred sessions will be available when your child starts.
How to apply
- Book a visit to look around – call us on 0118 972 4760 or send us an enquiry.
- Complete our new child application form and send it to us.
- We’ll contact you to confirm availability.
- We’ll arrange a home visit and give you a registration form.
- We’ll agree a start date with you.
Settling in
A child who is unhappy can’t play or learn, so we work with you to help your child feel confident and secure. Some children take longer to settle than others – please don’t worry if your child takes a while.
Before your child’s first visit to pre-school, their key person and our Manager like to visit you at home. It’s a chance to get to know your child: their early skills, whether they’ll need help with things like putting on their coat or washing their hands, and their likes and dislikes, so we can steer them towards activities we know they’ll enjoy.
